Triumph TR6 - suspension lowering

according to Roger Williams How To Improve TR5,250&6
on page 26 under section Front Handling and Steering he
describes how you can lower the front end by approx 15mm by inverting the lower wishbones. Has anyone done this and what was the result? Were you satisfied with the look and ride?
