Triumph TR6 - Rocket City Red Neck Scientists
For the purists, please forgive a slight departure from strictly TR-6-dom. For those unaware of Huntsville, Alabama, I invite you to tune in to National Geographic's new program debuting tomorrow evening. Check details at http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/rocket-city-rednecks/?source=banner_semgngc_188 Now to the connection...you'd think with guys like these, that I'd not be 5 years into my one year TR-6 restoration. Problem is getting their attention on mundane problems like how's the by pass valve supposed to be set without external access to the adjustment?. They have far more interesting "Rocket Scientist" stuff to do. You know that you might be in Huntsville Alabama if your neighbor is a Rocket Scientist! db

A former one of them there "redneck rocket scientist" types that I know always referred to the town as "Huntspatch." Then again there's always that "Sparky the Squirrel" incident from several years ago...

Yeah Steve, Sparky interfered with us getting together for lunch as I recall. After the outbreak of tornadoes this spring, we had several nights, almost a week, of NO lights ANYWHERE. It was a mite eerie, but also a very rare treat such that I had not seen since I lived at White Sands New Mexico where you could count the stars at night w/o light pollution of nearby towns. Come on back Steve and bring a flashlight. We'll have lunch!! db
