Triumph TR6 - New Plugs for the Six!
Put new NGK Plats. in, and it brought Cyl #1 "back to life." #1 & 2 were really badly oil fouled. I had been (& still am) running them with a .030 gap. I opened them up a bit from .025 being a Plat. plug.

PJ Not sure where you are coming from but..... NGKs will not fix a cylinder problem......PERIOD. and .030 does not fix a problem. Plat plugs also no not fix a problem. Oily plugs ....yes this is a problem. I am sure but,,,,, since you did this post,,,, you are back at sq. 1.............oily plugs....engine rebuiuld....that is what it sounds like. Rick

I'm under the impression that platinum is used in spark plugs merely to increase thier lifespan, not spark performance since platinum, as a conductor, is much less effective than is copper. You should run copper plugs in a TR6 as per the way god intended.
