Triumph TR6 - Miles or Kilometers

My virtual TR 6 (I don't pick it up until Aug 22) is a 1976 CF exported to Canada back in the day. Does the odometer read in miles or kilometers? Mine reads 77,353. A detail I never paid attention to. Thanks! Ken

It will be in MPH, Ken, with smaller background KPH markings. At least it is on my CF58310

Hi Ken,

although Canada went metric in 1976, the TR6 odometers were always in miles as was the outer speedo markings... inner being Kmh.

Congrats on the car. I wish I lived along your 'parade' route so I could see the new beast in action.... maybe tag along in mine. You are going to have such a fantastic ride!

Thanks DW and Rob... miles it is. I needed to tell my insurance company the mileage and no one here seemed to know. Duh!

The Parade: Well you guys live in a beautiful part of the world so you can imagine the anticipation I feel.
Rob... I think you are on the island so if this car were there I'd come by and show off. ;) All my previous trips west have been time constrained vacations or business so this one will indeed be sweet as an old fart retiree.
