Triumph TR6 - Main bearings
My #4 main bearing does not have any .00 #'s on it however it does have numbers on both out side edges. I would assume them to be standard w/o any hint of a .00 numbers. Any thoughts.

Can't help you there JT. I have no experience although your theory is plausible.

JT If I am not mistaken, they only stamped a number on them when they where not standard size. If Standard, you should see STD stamped on them. The one in my hand says STD on it. Rick

on my #4 one side has a symbol (mfg mark I assume) and the #5106 next to it then on the opposite side it has the #149082 by the wear and the supposed milage I'm assuming they are STD.

JT/I would agree. Mine has the # 149650 stamped with the symbol of a Square with a G inside the square. Rick
