Triumph TR6 - Looking for a Spit. diff.
| Hello, As I posted in Spit. section, I need a replacement for a worn diff. My fist choice is in eastern part of Canada for transportation purpose. Thanks, J.G.C |

| JG: I've got a GT6 diff - still in the car I'm parting out. The car is toast - rustiest Triumph I've ever seen and we're salvaging interesting bits here and there that are universally Triumph. We will be cutting most of it up with a torch and recip saw and plan to flip it on its back and cut the diff out. Even the diff is major rusty but we should have in all apart in a couple weeks. May be able to post pics then if a GT6 diff will fit a Spit. BTW, the PO had installed a dohc Fiat engine & trans c/w header. Weird combo for a GT6 but it may have been reasonably quick before its death by rust. Also, it has a complete original equipment, canvas sunroof c/w all hardware that is in reasonably decent condition. Never saw one before on a GT6. Interesting car with a few good parts that a nice old lady asked me to remove from her backyard for free. I'll take a free Triumph any day, regardless of condition. E-mail if you want to talk diff. | Hello Bob, I wrote to you concerning that diff. and I found that a GT6 is an easy swap. Cheers, JGC |
