Triumph TR6 - Hey Mr. Masters..
Hey Dan. I'm doing an alternator conversion on my TR4 and am wondering if the instructions at this addy are the correct ones. http://www.vtr.org/maintain/alternator/gm-tr4.shtml I saw a thread somewhere that the instructions were flawed in some way and not updated. So I just wanted to make sure they were correct now. Thanks!

"WHAT Dan made a mistake?" Yes, I'm ashamed to say, I did, but I recognized it quickly and posted a correction. The instructions on the VTR site now are the corrected ones.

Thank you Dan, I couldn't see anything that looked suspicious. But reading a post from a couple years back, I think, there was a mention that you had informed VTR of the error, but they hadn't updated. And since I'm right in the middle of an alt conversion, just wanted to be safe. I'm doing a kind of blog in the TR4 area of this site, if anyone's interested. May be the longest alt conversion in history. I'll probably get the pulley in about a week, and the belt will probably have to be ordered too. It's fun living in a small town. Thanks again for the confirmation, definitely puts my mind at ease.
