Triumph TR6 - Heavy Duty Headlight Harness

I want to install new modern headlights in my '74 TR6, and had intended to order the heavy duty harness from Victoria British in Kansas. However, they ship by courier instead of regular mail; so, that means a cost for shipping a $20.00 part of a minimum $40.00 plus broker fees at the border. I've checked Moss and The Roadster factory for the harness, but no luck. Does anyone have a suggestion re: availability of same at reasonable shipping costs to Ottawa Ontario?

Thanks,

P. Noel.

Go ~1/4 to 1/3 way down and find the relay kit section. It does state you will have to source the wire, but it's got the relays, connectors and such needed for installation of H4 type headlamps and their heavier current draw. If you want to try and keep with the standard Lucas color coding of the wires, go here:

http://www.britishwiring.com/

They sell bulk wire and if memory is correct, you need blue w/red tracer and blue w/white tracer in the Lucas standard color code for the hots and black for ground. They show both available in British wire size 44, which corresponds to 12 gage wire. They also sell PVC sleeving in bilk lengths that can be used to help match up the harness look.

Thanks for the info. Weather's improving; so, I'll be looking into shedding some light on the highway.

Also check out Advance Auto Wire. They build a kit that is in a lot of 6's
