Triumph TR6 - flywheel- ring gear info??
| hello, I need your help today. I bought on e-bay a lightened flywheel: 18 lbs. I received it today, but few things appears odd. First: On engine side of flywheel there is a lip (shoulder) where I imagine ring gear should rest. But in reality ring gear is at 1/8" (3mm) from it. Is it OK? Second: after looking at ring gear, teeth for one side have a bias (wedge shape) and this biais is on gearbox side of flywheel. It seems illogical as it on the opposite side of starter gear. Have I deduct things right or wrong? Thanks, Jean G. |
