Triumph TR6 - BENT PUSH RODS
| RECENTLY STARTED 71 TR6 AFTER 17YRS SITTING AT IDLE IT WAS OK ALL WINTER 1ST RIDE AROUND BLOCK BARELY MADE IT BACK RUNNING LIKE S$*& REMOVED VAVLE COVER TO FIND 3 BENT INTAKE PUSH RODS ANY IDEAS?????? |

Well..? After 17 years is it possible that some old oil sludge has caused the oil not to circulate properly and as it got hot, as in driving not idling, some parts expanded and bound up because of lack of oil? Sounds like a teardown and rebuild is in order. Let us know Henry |

| You might want to see if the valves operated by those 3 pushrods are binding in their guides. Tom |

| If the valves are stuck in the guides on three cylinders then I tend to agree a complete stipdown abd rebuild is the way I would go as well. Cheers , Pete. |

| I wonder if the rockers siezed to the rocker shaft. 17 years is a long time. Did you change the oil before starting it up? Did it overheat? |
