Triumph TR6 - air filter housing

hello again

as i work to prepare the tr6 for the road, <i was hoping to install some <k/N filters but not in the traditional stocl filter hoúsing++I was hoping to find the little chrome circular type that direct fit the ZS carb. <does anyone have a part number - location for these**

Check any of the usual suspects. This is a common item.

Hello Scott

You want two of the 56-1620 model, which comes with the two chrome (actually stainless steel, I think) covers (front and back) and filter, as well as bolts, washers etc. I seem to recall the gaskets weren't included, but can't be sure.

You can get them from Moss, TRF etc. or find them at any "speed" shop online. If you have an early car, with the straight inlet manifold, you can get the deeper filters (56-1622) I think, but they won't fit the later manifold.
