Triumph TR6 - A/C bracket and head studs

My A/C compressor bracket is mounted on the front two head studs and nuts. I was wondering how it would effect things by simply pulling it off and re- torquing the nuts? I really don't want to get into replacing the head gasket at this time and leaving the bracket there would look horrid in the engine compartment.

No problem .

jt, i'm in the same situation. I need to replace all the radiator hoses and the compressor is in the way of the lower hose. I too am concerned about breaking those 2 bolts loose. If it would disturb the head gasket than I would opt for removing the 4 bolts that secure the comp. to the bracket and leaving the bracket be.
Don, are you sure? ! ?
