Triumph TR6 - 400hwy crash?

Hi folks,
I haven't been on here in ages. Most of you know me. I justed wanted to know if that TR6 crash last weekend was anyone I know. The couple were airlifted to hospital. Green TR6 northbound. Toronto Star doesn't mention names or car but it looks like a TR6 to me.

It was a TR3

The couple was Robin and Ria Searle. I think they are members of the TTC. Robin was airlifted to St Michaels in Toronto, but is expected to recover, his injuries are serious. Ria has some broken ribs and damage to one arm.

Robin and Ria are indeed members of the Toronto Triumph Club and with the help of their daughter members are receiving updates via TTC club email. Ria is in pain but up and around and visiting Robin who continues to improve in hospital (Sunnybrook I think). His head trauma had doctors inducing a coma for some time but he is now awake and recognizing his family. There's improvement each day. The family has been blown away by the support and good wishes received from British car enthusiasts. Ken

Thanks for taking the time to give us an update. I have been worrying since I saw the pictures. That was quite a crash. Their guardian angel was certainly looking out for them.

Another email received on June 10 from their daughter indicates continued progress being made by Robin. She explains that he's standing, is able to take some therapy, and his memory is improving. Optimism prevails and prayers are being answered. He's hoping to be able to accept visitors next week.

I'll end my unauthorized contribution to this thread with that good news from his daughter via the Toronto Triumph Club president and leave the rest of the communication with his family, close friends & personal network. I've read that the family has felt the good wishes coming from the international "LBC Family" and are very grateful. One day at a time as they say. Ken
