Triumph TR6 - 1970-72 Seat Foam- poll

I am planning on recovering my 1970 TR6 style seats and will be replacing the foam. I have heard various comments about the foam kits available- MOSS, TRF, Victoria British, other. I would like to solicit comments from those who have bought foam kits to help me. This is a critical component of the car for me since I am in it for the driving experience and I want to make the best decision possible given the prices. My seats were not done when I redid the car in 2005 and the driver's seat is flat and not as comfortable as it probably could be. Thanks for your comments.

Michael,
Four years ago I bought the complete interior kit from Victoria British for my 73TR6. A little expensive ($1000 on sale down to $850). I think now its $1100. Thank goodness my wife doesn't read this forum!!! That include foam kits for both seats, diaphram, carpeting, side panels, everything. It came out GREAT!! It took me about 30 hours to do everyting but it was well worth it. No special tools needed other than common sense. It came out so nice that I'd do it again if I had to but after 4 years everything still looks brand new. If you can afford, go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Mike,

I just had my foam replaced and it is amazing the difference. The seats are more comfortable to say the least. Foam was purchased from British NW. Great service. Cost for labor for having both seats done was $100.

HI Mike I also bought the complete interior kit from Victoria British (through British Auto Sports) I got the Bisquit colour and it turned out great. My wife and I did the seats together as she is good with sewing and hemming etc. The seat kits need no sewing however just patience. The entire kit is also made in Britian so that made me feel good as well. The pattern on the vynil for the seats and the panels are just like the originals Regards John
