Triumph TR3 - which gearbox oil?

The manual seems to suggest 20-50 motor oil. Is this correct?

I have been told to use GL4 in the gearbox and the rear differential. Do not use a combo oil such as one that has GL5. I use Stalube Multi purose Hypoid SAE 85W90 Gear oil API/GL4. Napa has it in the US as part # SL24239

I have used Valvoline 20W50 R (for Racing) in my gearbox with overdrive for the last 97,000 miles.

Cheers guys. Mine is a Tr3A too. So I think I'll go with the 20-50 as Don and the manual suggest!
