Triumph TR3 - Where to locate a Radio
| Hi: Recently I bougth a 60' restored Blaupunkt Radio for my TR3A. I'm not sure where to locate it in the dashboard. Could you help me ? Anyone knows where the original radios where located ? Thanks in advance Arturo Canalda http://www.ea4az.com/021aed96ce07ac606/index.html |

| Arturo-The original radios&speaker were mounted on the trans. tunnel. I will bet that Don Elliott could provide a sketch or picture of the factory radio. Just an added thought-I don't think Blaupunkt was ever used by Triumph and also make sure that the radio can be used with a positive ground or that your car has been converted to neg. ground. | Arturo, I agree . The radio was mounted on the transmission tunnel. I had a 1960 TR3A which I got in 1966. It had a radio (AM only, naturally) which was mounted there. Between the rush of the air and the sweet sound of the engine, you could not hear it very clearly, unless the weather was cold and the top and curtains were on. Gary |
