Triumph TR3 - Where did these seats come from?

My car came with non-original seats. You can see them at this link:

I would like to know what type of vehicle these came from. The second photo is of the seat tipped forward. The latch holds the seat to the tracks. Perhaps someone out there will recognize this seat hardware.

Look like spitfire seats to me, i would say mk 2. Bill
