Triumph TR3 - TR3 Seat Restoration.
| I have re upholstered the seats and they are ready for install. Question here is regarding the seat rails. The adjustment lever sits on which side for the driver and which side for passenger. I removed them early in the dismantling and forgot to make notes. To help with an answer, can we assume that I am sitting in the drivers seat. (One day this will be true). Lever on the left, close to the door or right, adjacent to the tunnel. Any help is appreciated. |

| Forgot to mention that this is a left hand drive. |

| Robert - The levers are near the doors on both sides. When I restored my TR3A five years ago, I spray painted all th rails. They should be silver color. Then with a small brush from a touch-up tube of paint, I painted L-1 to L-4 on each rail for the left and R-1 to R-4 for the right side seat rails. When it rains and my carpets get wet, I take out mu seats, seat rails, carpets and underpadding for a few days to dry. The numbering helps me to get them back in corectly.
