Triumph TR3 - Tire Presure
| I just finshed my restoration and I am experiencing tire squeel when in a curve. I have Firestones on new wires. What is the correct presure and is there a difference for steel rims? Thanks to all who respond in advance. |

| I have radial tires on steel wheels with no tubes and I use a pressure of 30 psi all around. Yours will squeal if the curve is too tight and you're driving at the limit. That means they are doing the job of keeping you out of the trees. Have you checked the toe in ? It can be the cause of the problem. This can be easily adjusted. | Thanks Don. Never thought about that. I increased the tire pressure to 35 and the squeeling is less. I am sure with a front end alignment and the proper toe in I will get a better result and be able to reduce the tire pressure. Thanks again. |
