Triumph TR3 - Speedometer Repair

Has anyone had experience of a company "Palo Alto Speedometer & Instrument repair"? (Known as PASPEEDO) My unit jumps wildly at all speeds - it is not the cable as another unit is fine.

I had a temp gauge rebuilt by Palo Alto about 10 years ago and was very satisfied. I think they have been in business since about 1960. Having said that, the problem is probably lack of lubrication and the clock spring becoming weak. Here is a good site for Jaeger speedo and tachs: http://mywebpages.comcast.net/rhodes/speedo.html
