Triumph TR3 - Spa or Sebring white?
How can I know if the colour of my late (November) 1959 TR3A is Spa or Sebring white? Thanks. Jesus

See if you can get a triumph heritage certificate. That should list the correct color code for your car. Al Christopher

You can get the one for your car from the Heritage Center in Gaydon, England. You'll need to send in the TS number. It might help if you can also send the EB body number and the TS engine number - stamped on the engine block below the distributor. http://www.heritage-motor-centre.co.uk/sectionpages/archive_index.html Production Record Certificates Tel - 44 1926 645076 or e-mail : - hmcarch@heritage-motor-centre.co.uk Don Elliott, Original Owner, 1958 TR3A, Montreal (I'll be staying along the coast east of Malaga for 3 weeks in May)

Thanks for your inputs, Al and Don. I did already apply for the certificate some weeks ago. In the meantime, I just tried to learn how to distinguish the difference between Spa- and Sebring-white shades, if ever possible. Jesus

If you could originally tell the difference between these two whites in 1959, I doubt if you could figure it out from looking at 45 year old british paint. On my 1960 AH sprite, there were four distinctly different colors on the all light blue body Al Christopher
