Triumph TR3 - Removing Steering Column
I need to remove the steering column from my tr-3 and seem to have solved all the procedures except for breaking the taper on the pitman arm where it meets the Tie Rod. I have a small puller that won't fit on, would it be appropriate to use a "pickle fork"? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Rich

The only damage I can forsee would be to the tie rod gaiter (rubber grease seal).

Finally got around to checking compression on the TR3A. Here's how it fared: #1 - 130 #2 - 120 #3 - 130 #4 - 125 Love to know how this compares with other TRs. High? Low? Average? Any concerns with the 10 psi difference? I have 87mm pistons and liners. Many thanks, Bill Stagg 1961 TR3A
