Triumph TR3 - New TR3A Owner Reporting In
| All, The deal is done. By Tuesday, the '61 TR3A should be safely tucked in my garage, ready for fall driving and attendance to matters of maintenance and repair. Is the giddyness normal? I am now in the process of parting with my '80 Moto Guzzi Convert side car rig that has given me great pleasure for many years, both as a two-wheeled whirling dervish and as a side car rig for my wife and kids. Winter riding in the face of the elements? I know all about it... My earlier experience with two Triumph Bonnevilles afforded some insight into British motorized transport, albeit of the two-wheeled variety. I have applications in the mail for the VTR, TRA and the Indy TR club, and I'm looking forward to new contacts through each. Any and all advice from those more experienced is always appreciated. Through the Guzzi, I've played the parts-hunt game, but now I need to develop new supply lines for the TR. With luck, I'll be able to cruise the fall colors in southern Indiana before they are gone. Look for the broad grins of the TR and its driver. Best regards to all, Bill Stagg |

| Bill - Welcome to the land of TR3A's. Now that you have it, don't hesitate to ask your questions here. Our goal is to become as active as the TR6 guys on their TR6 BBS site below ours. Check out their Threads too. They have a lot of questions and answers that apply to our little 4 bangers as well. Don Elliott, 1958 TR3A |
