Triumph TR3 - Hardtop fittings

Just fit today the bridge pieces (5) on the elbow rail of my 3A, but can't get the cappings in right order back because the bridge pieces are to high ???
Can any one tell me what the height should be for those bridge pieces. The ones I used are approx. 30/31 mm.

i have one original bridge piece and it measures 27mm.
i bought a hard top mounting kit made in the uk from moss motors. the bridge pieces in the kit measure 28mm.
i have not yet tryed to fit the hard top to my tr3a yet , sounds like it could be a challenge.
