Triumph TR3 - Front wing repair panel

Is anyone familiar with the front wing repair panels sold by TRF and MOSS?

Is there a benefit to buying these vs making them from scratch?

Do they already contain proper edge/lip?

I got a patch panel for the lower rear portion of the RF fender--can't remember if it was Moss or TRF. It did have an edge/lip if you mean the curled part around the wheel opening. I fit the panel but my brazing or welding skills were never good and are now non-existent. A bodyshop installed it and you would probably not find the patch. My skills would not permit making the patch and the quality of the panel(ie. rough fit) was better than I expected. If you are interested I will look for the invoice to see where I got it.

That's ok. I mainly was interested in whether it had the lip across the bottom (with the bolt holes).

It did have the lip with the bolt holes. After installation they lined up!!

The Moss lower repair sections are stepped to properly fit.
