Triumph TR3 - Front Flasher Light Assembly
I am replacing the front flasher lamp assembly and wiring. When I took the old assembly off it was held ont the grill with plastic molly bolt. I need to know the correct way to mount the assembly to the grill. Thanks Scott Feldman

The rubber base that holds the metal socket base, then the lens and the chrome ring is held to the grille with three tiny screws and nuts. They should be listed in the usual suppliers' parts catalogs. They go into the three tiny "U" slotted cut-outs in the grille location. Don Elliott, 1958 TR3A

Thanks Don, Let me just clarify this. The screws go through the metal socket base then the rubber base which attach through the grill, Or does the rubber base get screwed to the grill and the socket base just fits into the rubber base. Thanks Again Scott PS thanks for the tip with archiving this is a big help

The screw (which has straight threads - as opposed to a wood screw) goes through the metal base for the socket, then through the rubber, then the grille. Then a flat washer or lock washer (or both) then the nut. Don Elliott, 1958 TR3A
