Triumph TR3 - Engine/chassis numbers..again

I've just acquired what I was told was a TR3a it is said to be 1961 according to the Title doc from Illinois. The VIN is TS 68380L - is this correct for a 1961 widemouth - or have I been sold a hybrid TR2 / TR3 ?

The Moss catalog shows comm.# for 1960 TR3As from TS65124-TS82029. However, if the car was unsold at the end of the year, it could be re-title as a 1961.
