Triumph TR3 - Early TR3 grille trim ring

I need the chrome trim ring that circles the TR3 grille. I don't think there are any reproductions available. I have the original ring for my car, but it's not usable. It appears to me that the ring is made of a chrome strip similar to the trim on the side of all MGBs. Would anyone have thoughts on how this MGB item could be "curved" without crimping it so as to re-create the grille trim ring?

Why do you say the original one is not usable ? It can be repaired and rechromed. If it has holes in it, you can patch it using a MIG welder. Or have someone do it for you. Original parts are always better than anything re-manufactured.
