Triumph TR3 - Disc brakes

Hi Guys:
Has anybody with an early TR3A, prior to having dust shields on the discs, noticed pulling to one side or another on the first application of the brakes when caught in the rain or suddenly hitting wet roads?
Chuck

My 1958 TR3A was delivered from the factory without any dust shields. Since then, it has never had any.

I can't say that I ever felt any pulling in the front brakes in the dry or in the wet that I can say was caused by not having them. It has pulled in the rain, but I put that down to the slick on the surface and uneven traction between tires. And I don't drive in the rain that much. Only about 3,000 miles out of the 70,000 miles that I have driven during the last 12 summers was in the rain. And because of the poor effectiveness of the wipers, I travel a lot more carefully, so maybe I just haven't noticed this happening at these slower speeds. I brake more cautiously as well, leaving more distance and tread more lightly on the brakes in the rain.
