Triumph TR3 - Cluthc Bleeding

Hi, I recently acquired a '58 TR3A. I just replaced the flexible clutch hose, and tried to bleed the system. The pressure doesn't seem to hold in the pedal. I can pump it up and get pressure, but after letting it sit for just a minute or so, the pressure is gone. Any ideas suggestions?
