Triumph TR3 - 50 amp fuses
Folks, Have the early fuse box w/50 amp fuses. I do have one (original looking) spare in place. Anyone know of a source for these boogers?

Hi P.R. The original fuse you have is probably a Lucas fuse which uses the British system of rating amps. You can use an SAE 35 amp fuse with the same protection but don't use an SAE 50 amp fuse or your wiring will probably catch fire before the fuse blows.

Chuck, Thanks, I was totally unaware that the British system used a dif rating scale. So the British 35 amp equates to what?

Hi PR: The Roadster Factory sells the correct fuses you are seeking. http://www.the-roadster-factory.com

Hi P.R. I am not sure what a Brit 35amp is in the SAE spec but I expect it would probably be 20amp.However I do know that an SAE 35amp replaces a Lucas 50amp.
