Triumph Spitfire - Window Seal

I have a friend that is rebuilding a 1967 Mark 3 Spitfire, and needs help locating a rear seal for the window of the steel hardtop. All catalogs are listing it as unavailable. Is there anything else that can be modified to use in its place?
