Triumph Spitfire - Stranger in A Strange Land

I recently purchased an HS-2 carb set and manifold that came off a 1300cc Spitfire motor. I want to fit in
on my....I'm afraid to say it.....Midget 1500. I can't seem to fit any information regarding carb heatshields on
Spits with the HS-2. Where heatshields installed on these models?

Yep, they do have a heat shield, between the carb and inlet manifold, the standards available from
the usual suppliers e.g. Moss, Rimmerbros and if thats not good enough (it Probably will)a larger
version is available from the same or TSSC.

By the way (this may not be the case)dont you need HS4's for a 1500
