Triumph Spitfire - Spitfire Interior Renovation
| I am shortly going to gut my scruffy standard spitfire interior and wish to change it to something different but tastefull. There must be loads of spitfire owners who have done this so i would be very gratefull if anybody has got any advice. My car is brooklands green. I would like to perhaps change my interior to a light cream (including dash top and all other trim which is currently black) with walnut dash and wooden steering wheel but am not convinced that this will be as nice as it sounds when done. Any comments suggestions would be more than welcome. See my car at www.geocities.com/mesonsspitfire/myspit.html. Thanks Happy spitfire motoring! Ashley |

| Ashley,I don't much like to interior of spitfires either so here is what I did to mine. I took the plastic mouldings from the top of the doors and used them as a template to make a wooden moulding, and and I also made a new sterio console. I used cherry wood and a clear varnish and it matches the color of the dash exactly |
