Triumph Spitfire - spit oil filters
| hello! curious to know what brand or type oil filter to use on a 75 spit, other than a kralinator L-11 that i can only get locally for a mere 24.99 + tax.not a cartridge a spin on.apparently there are some large home harware brand filters, but then you cant remove the starter if needed. thanks kev. |

| Kevin, My 68 is a spin on style. I believe the same type fits the 75. I have a Crosland 595 oil filter that I believe is closer to $10. It looks like I can get the starter motor off if I need to. If you can wait for delivery try Moss motors in California, Fred at British Auto Sport here in Ontario, Victoria British in Kansas or The Roadster Factory in Pensylvania. Fred's number is 1-888-485-2277. The others have web sites that you can get the number off. . There are other dealers but these are the ones I have dealt with over the past few years. A Fram PH16 or equivalent may fit as well but be very sure the threads and seal are in the same location as your existing filter. $5.00 at Canadian Tire Regards Mike Petryschuk |
