Triumph Spitfire - Running a HIF-6 Carb

I got a deal on a HIF-6 SU Carb and manifold. Has anyone any experience on needle selection for such a setup?

Currently the 1500 is stock with only a header having been added. I plan on switching over to flat head pistons to increase output eventually but for now just want to get her up and going.
