Triumph Spitfire - looking for windshield wiper switch

I am unable to reassemble my windshield wiper switch on my '79 spitfire (left hand drive, switch is mounted on the right hand side of the steering column) and I am either trying to find a new one (working, used one) or find someone who knows how to reassemble this one. (New ones are unavailable on any website catalogue I have tried) Any help, anyone?? Thank you!

Christina : Is there any difference between the switches for lhd & rhd or is it the same switch mounted 'upside down'? If the latter then they are readily available this side of the pond new and used.

look at www.canleyclassics.com or www.rimmerbros.co.uk for an online catalogue, I assume they ship abroad.
