Triumph Spitfire - Is smog Airpump a standard Delco Part

I read on a BMW 2002 board that the airpumps used on '02s were a very standard part that is available under an American car listing at Pep Boys. Does anyone know if this is true with the Spitfire, as mine is frozen and I'm trying to smog in San Diego. For example, you go in and say, I need an airpump for a Triumph and they laugh, but you go in and say I need an airpump for a Pinto and they hand you the same part for $60. Otherwise, are their any kind souls out there willing to sell their used, working air pump for cheap? Thanks.
