Triumph Spitfire - Hoodbag Question

Lo all,

I have a 1968 Mk3 Spitfire and was wondering if anyone could answer this question.

With the softop "down" and the hoodbag "fitted" does the hardtop bolt straight down on top of it? I realise you have to remove the hoods rear fixing rail and the hoodbag has holes lining up with side and rear hardtop bolt points.

Just asking as In the past I have removed the hood/frame completely from the car when fitting the hardtop. It gives a bit more space in the car but thistime Id like to leave it in situ.
