Triumph Spitfire - Help! Restoring 1976 Spitfire

I would like to know if a 1978 Spitfire parts can be used on my 1976 Spitfire.

there is hardly a part that would not be interchangeable between these models. the only real difference is that the 78 has more emissions garbage on it.
