Triumph Spitfire - Fitting a Hardtop to a MkII Spit

I have, after much searching and expense, acquired a factory hardtop for my '67 mkII spit (one of the last mkII's). Now can somebody help me with how to attach it? The hardtop has the glass and two bolts for the attachment to the windscreen. That much I can figure out, but there appear to be bars that should secure the top to the slots provided for the soft top bow? There are also two fastening points that ride over the rear deck (inward) that appear to require me to drill holes in the rear deck of my beloved spit in order to secure it through the holes provided.

Can anyone help me with a good reference for how to retrofit my spit for this hardtop?
