Triumph Spitfire - Emissions stuff in VA

I just bought a 1980 Spitfire - and see that all the emissions stuff has been removed, with the air pipes going into the head bent over and soldered. As I have to get it to pass emissions before I can tag it (I only get one chance at 30 day tags), I think I need to replace the smog pump, brackets and all that crap.

Has anyone had any similar experiences with this emissions stuff? Thanks!
