Triumph Spitfire - COLOR of CHASSIS
| Dear fellows, Last night me and a friend of mine, disagreed on something. So I am going to make a question, in order to make me clear something. IN WHAT COLOR DID THE FACTORY PAINT THE CHASSIS OF THE SPITFIREs. Was it Black or the color of the chassis was the same as the color of the body? Thank you in advance Regards Nassos PS: MERRY X-MAS TO EVERYONE |

| On the later Spitfires (Mark IV/1500), the frame is painted the same color as the body. I believe that the early Spitfires were the same color also, but cannot say with 100% confidence. |
