Triumph Spitfire - Ball Pin(Inner tie-rod in US) substitution

Hi,

I am facing a problem with my 80 Spit. as the front rack wobble slightly and the problem seems to reside at the ball pin level. If that part is faulty Moss offer no avaliability to fix it. Is there a simple solution like a ball pin from some other brit. car that could do the job decently.
