Triumph Spitfire - 79 spitfire 1500, need original color for british racing green

I am restoring a 79 spit and am going to paint it british racing green. I need to know the original factory color scheme for this model and color. What are the interior colors i.e. carpet, seats, dash. Please help.

The original colour your Spitfire is Brooklands Green. This was the green colour used for cars manufactured between 1977 and 1979.
As for the interior this could be either the beige or blacb "Houndstooth" or check trim with vinyl side trim. Dependant on the chassis no, if before FH100,020 the vinyl trim should be '1290' grain. If after the vinyl should be 'Stag' grain. Your Dash should be wood vineer.
