Triumph Spitfire - 1975 Spitfire 1500

I am currently restoring a 1975 Spitfire 1500 and am curious if the rack on the trunk (boot) was a stock
item on only certain years or if it was an accessory available for all years. Also curious if this changed from market to market (ie. US / UK).

Hi Colin,

From what I understand, the factory offered luggage racks as an option, but they were dealer-fitted. This probably means that depending on where the car was originally sold, it could have one of any number of racks.
