Triumph GT6 - GT6 Sunroof

I am looking at adding a original style "Webasto" cloth sunroof to my 1969 GT6 plus. What I would like to know is this.... Where they ever a factory option for the GT6? and sence I have never seen one on a GT6 and I have on MGBGT's and CGT's IF I can find one in good shape on a BGT or a CGT, would it be possible to cut and fit one to fit a GT6? I would think this would be a no brainer fix consitering the inhearent heat buildup in the cockpit of a GT6. All comments are welcome
