MG TD TF 1500 - Tune up Question

Im looking to give the TD a tune up, My question is when looking at the Moss catalog they have diff parts for diff dist.. How whould I tell what dist I have in my 52 TD?

I don't recall the spsecifics, but it has to do with the profile of the distributor cam. I think that I remember that there were 3 different variations and that these were addressed in the WSM and possibly in the front of the Moss catalog.

There is also a number stamped on the body of the distributor, which might be covered in dirt, and you might need an inspection mirror to see it. Cheers Phil

The guys are right above. For tune-up purposes, the early condensor is not available, so you have to use the late one anyway. Points, cap, rotors all the same. Read the archives on rotors. George
