MG TD TF 1500 - Tickler Pin
The WM clearly shows the TF1500 carburettor with a tickler pin on the RHS to help check the mix. Not on mine! Were they not on the later versions, or do I have to start stripping down to see what the identification marks are? IanB

My late TF 1500 # 8986, XPEG 2899 has the tickler pins on the right side
Don Harmer
Ian Not unusual for these to have been filled in. Do yours appear to be?
Bruce Cunha
Bruce, He is taking about the pin in the body of the carb that lifts the piston, not the one in the float bowl cover that pushes the float down Some H4 carbs have this pin.
Don Harmer
Thanks Don. I did not know they had a lifting pin on the TF;s.
