MG TD TF 1500 - TF spedo cable

How is the spedo cable routed on a TF? I am not sure which hole it goes through on the firewall and if it has a clamp like the tach cable.

Not very a good drawing, as it's a little faded but, it might help. PJ

As far as I know originally there was no twistd "P" clip as is on the tach cable. On my car the speedo cable exits out of the trans and turns sharply forward. I think there is a "P" clip on the frame before it heads up to the fire wall entry.
